Like- There is plenty of room for everyone, lots of shade.
Dislike- the road in- the cost of the crappers-
Mill Flats is a beautiful area and has something for everyone except a stream. Mountains and wildlife, hills for the kids to get dirty on, flat open areas, trees. I really like how the tin teepee and primitive are seperated so well.
Dislikes would be the road up there. The climb for the trail walk and the distance between the range and the walk.
Bottom line is we can make anyplace because we(as members) put on the rendezvous not the location.
Mill flat has everything that a rondy needs. Plenty of space to do anything and everything,shade and a vista. Mill Flat bad points are the road and distance to get there,forest service and some of the costs incurred to the club. In my opinion if the rondy is to survive we need to include more traders and get more of the general public to find interest in Rendezous.
